Why I chose the Holistic Lifestyle

This has nothing to do with just living longer. I want to live AT MY BEST.

Why I chose the Holistic Lifestyle

Some people say: "I prefer to die younger and live a fulfilled life of pleasures rather than living in constant frustration."

Let me share my perspective.

This isn't about living longer. I want to live AT MY BEST. I want all my capacities — physical, mental, emotional — operating optimally. I don't want to end up taking medication after medication, getting weaker, spending weeks in hospitals and operations.

I want QUALITY. I want clarity of mind, ability to grow and learn, body functionality for as long as possible. I don't want to end up frustrated because I can't use my body anymore.

The Real Question

What's the worst frustration:

  • -Not being able to move your body because you destroyed it slowly but surely?
  • -OR saying "no" to unnecessary chemical-laden foods and drinks?

Especially when you start understanding how rich and fulfilling real whole foods are and how empowered they make you feel.

My Story

I started my holistic health journey when I had no choice. I was sick every month, taking antibiotics constantly. A doctor told me I'd be like that forever because I was a weak person with sensitive sinuses.

Now, 3 years later: I haven't used ANY medication — no antibiotics, no paracetamol, no Ibuprofen, no NSAIDs, nothing. Only powerful natural support that made me stronger, not weaker.

My immune system is stronger than ever. I don't get sick even surrounded by sick people. My energy levels are high. I have more potential and ability to decide what I want with my life. I'm still working on some adrenal fatigue, but I've come a long way.

I was younger but so much older on the inside back then.

Taking my health back was the best decision ever. Once you're really healthy, you realize how terrible it is when you're not. Unfortunately, people not at their best don't realize how much they're missing, how much potential they're downgrading, how much they're missing.

No Frustration

Am I frustrated having no soda or processed foods at home? HELL NO. When you reconnect with your body, you rediscover real food's true taste and smell. There's nothing better.

Do I have cravings? NO. Because I give my body everything it needs, I don't crave anything. I'm not fighting myself when surrounded by cupcakes — I find chemical colorings and artificial flavors unappealing. I respect myself too much to:

  • -Sponsor toxic food sellers making us sick
  • -Give my body foods that make it sick

Because I know my potential. When I help my body function optimally, I can do so much. I'm just not willing to go back.

I've never been happier with myself, and I know I can be better. I'm enjoying the journey because every day I know I'm a better person.

Getting older is a favor for me.

Not Extreme

This might seem extreme, but I'm not eating 100% organic because I go out with friends. Our food often isn't organic, and I'm okay with that because I never over-indulge. I like good red wine or champagne when out, but I make it a great experience, not ending completely wasted. I appreciate these moments because it's about sharing with people I love.

Whenever I control the food/drinks, it's always the best I can get. So at home, it's 100% organic. Try finding processed food in my kitchen!

I use the 80-20 rule: if 80% of the time you help yourself, it's okay to have 20% of other stuff.

But I listen to my body. Sometimes one glass of wine feels good. Sometimes not. And that's it. I'm aligned with my sensations and feelings. Learn to listen to your body, and you'll learn a lot about yourself and start making better decisions that transform your life.

At Home

At home, it's:

  • -All organic, natural cleaning products
  • -Natural organic skincare
  • -Himalayan salt lamps
  • -Anti-EMF pyramids
  • -Empowering crystals
  • -Good mineral water and coconut oil

This is who I am now. The way I feel shows how right I was with this decision.

A Note for Girls and Women

Especially those obsessed with weight loss: I spent my whole life unhappy, went through anorexia, was never comfortable with how I looked. I was obsessed with counting calories, destroyed my health reducing calories and draining myself in the gym, eating only non-fat artificially sweetened foods.

WHAT A WASTE OF TIME AND ENERGY.

Today I realize how wrong this was. Focus on BEING HEALTHY rather than being skinny. Your body will say thank you in a beautiful way.

When you live healthily and fulfillingly, dealing with inner struggles and emotions, accepting yourself right now and truly loving yourself — wonders happen. A healthy, happy mind and soul live in a beautiful radiant body.

Give yourself a chance to be at your best. Believe that you're an invaluable human soul deserving only the best.

I could say so much more about the enormous impact of my holistic lifestyle, but I'd be writing a book.

Take care of yourself and be the wonderful person you're meant to be.

In Love,

Stephanie
