Short video: DIET SODA or Aspartame and other Sweeteners make you FAT and TOXIC

Why all those "low-fat" or "low-calories" products actually make you FAT and TOXIC.

This is something I feel very strongly about, and I wanted to share it with you in this short video.

So many people switch to diet sodas or products sweetened with aspartame, sucralose, or other artificial sweeteners, thinking they are making a healthier choice. They are not. In fact, they may be making things considerably worse.

Here is what the research actually shows:

Artificial sweeteners disrupt your hormonal system. They still trigger an insulin response in your body, even though they contain no actual sugar. This creates a hormonal confusion that can lead to increased fat storage and metabolic dysfunction.

They increase cravings. Artificial sweeteners are intensely sweet - much sweeter than sugar. By training your brain to expect that level of sweetness, they actually increase your cravings for sweet foods overall.

They are toxic. Aspartame, for example, breaks down in the body into formaldehyde and other harmful byproducts. Sucralose (sold as Splenda) has been shown to destroy gut bacteria and contribute to inflammation.

They contribute to weight gain. Multiple studies have confirmed that people who regularly consume diet sodas actually gain more weight over time than those who drink regular sodas.

They poison your gut. Your gut bacteria are destroyed by these chemicals. A healthy gut microbiome is essential for your immune system, your hormones, your mood, and your metabolism.

The bottom line: if you want something sweet, have a small amount of real sugar, raw honey, or a piece of whole fruit. But please - get rid of the artificial sweeteners. Your body will thank you.
