You know I like to insist on the fact that eating well is not frustrating at all.
And this is another great example: how you can bake a real good treat for you and your family with only amazing nutritious ingredients. A tasty nutty banana bread, grain-free and dairy-free… it does sound good, right? Ok let’s see how easy it is to make it:
Ingredients: ALL ORGANIC
- 360g Banana
- 360g Grounded Almonds
- 3 Eggs
- 50g Coconut oil (melted)
- 75g Raw Honey (just 50-60g if you don’t want to sweeten it too much)
- 1 Tbsp Raw Unpurified Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1 tsp Ceylon Cinnamon
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 3/4 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/2 tsp Nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp Sea Salt (or Pink Himalayan Salt)
Preheat your oven to 150 degrees Celsius.
Prepare a bread pan with some coconut oil.
In a bowl, mix the eggs and the apple cider vinegar together.
Add the bananas, the melted coconut oil, the honey and the vanilla extract. Stir well until it is blended.
In another bowl, mix the grounded almonds, the cinnamon, the baking powder, nutmeg and the salt altogether. Stir into the banana mixture until well blended. Pour this batter into the prepared bread pan.
Bake it in the preheated oven about 1 hour (until a knife inserted in the centre comes out clean).
Let it cool down in the pan for at least 10-15min before removing to cool completely on a rack.
And this is how you can easily have an amazing treat based on nutrient-dense ingredients.
